The East Texas Rifle & Pistol club welcomes everyone to join our club and participate in our shooting events and our shooting community at large. As a non-profit organization, our members are the heartbeat of our club. All events are sponsored by our hard-working members who volunteer their time to arrange events like 5 stand sporting clays, action pistol matches, and youth group shoots. Involvement in these activities by either helping run the events or just coming out to participate is greatly appreciated and makes our club a stronger organization.
The only rules that pertain to becoming a member are as follows:
- Annual club fees are $115.00
- An initiation fee is due upon joining the club of $50.00
- Membership in the National Rifle Association is required of all members. If you are not a member, you may add $45.00 to your first year’s dues and initiation fee, and we will handle the enrollment.
- All members must be 21 years old or older and U.S. citizens.
The Application Process
You may pick up an application for membership at the East Texas Rifle and Pistol Club office located at the range from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday. The application and payment may be taken care of at that time or bring the completed application and payment to a scheduled Range Safety Orientation Meeting (see the calendar for scheduled class days and times). These meetings will be held at least weekly and will include a review of range safety rules as well as a map of the facility. You will be provided with a copy of the Range Safety Policy Booklet, a Disclaimer form to sign, and a gate access card.
