To the ETPRC members:
In an effort to expand our reach, and to offer a service to our members, we are holding a .50
BMG “test and tune day.”
This is an opportunity for our members with 50 BMG caliber rifles to shoot on the ETPRC range.
Due to limited space, and safety concerns we will be shooting on the short range, but will allow
members to sign in and test fire their rifles.
This will be a limited event, and if it is successful we may expand it to additional times. This is
not a change in the rules so as to allow 50 BMG to be shot regularly. This is a limited event and
will be under direct supervision of safety range officers.
The event will start at 9:00, and we will have persons available to help you set up your rifle and/
or scope if necessary, and allow sighting in safely.
There will be some ammunition available, and the opportunity to shoot a 50 BMG if you’ve never
done so.
Cost will be $10 for those wanting to shoot their rifles, and no charge to just observe. There will
be a nominal fee if you wish to shoot one of the available rifles to offset the cost of ammunition.
If you have a 50 BMG caliber rifle and wish to shoot, come on out at 9:00 on October 5th and
bring your rifle.
Eye protection and ear protection are mandatory for shooters and spectators and all other safety
requirements will be observed.
Range officers will have absolute discretion to approve or disapprove any rifle upon inspection.
This is a safety issue for all members.
If you have any questions about this event please contact David Griffith at 903-790-7954 or
contact the ETPRC office.
